Private Postpartum Doula Services Contract

This agreement is entered into by and between Adrienne Bullock, doing business as Adrienne's Love, hereafter referred to as "Doula", and the undersigned Client, hereafter referred to as "Client."

1. Services Provided:The Doula agrees to provide private postpartum doula services to the Client. These services include:

• Postpartum Support (Hourly Basis):

  • Emotional support for the new parent(s) during the postpartum period.

  • Guidance on newborn care, including infant soothing techniques, feeding, and sleep patterns.

  • Assistance with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding.

  • Physical support for the new parent(s) in terms of recovery, rest, and self-care.

  • Help with light household tasks related to newborn care, such as laundry, meal preparation, and organizing.

  • Education on postpartum recovery, including pelvic health, nutrition, and mental well-being.

  • Referrals to other professionals (if necessary) for specialized care.

These services will be delivered in scheduled visits, with times mutually agreed upon by the Doula and Client.

2. Payment Terms:

The Client agrees to pay $30 per hour for postpartum doula services.

• Hourly Rate:

  • The hourly rate for all postpartum services is $30.

  • A minimum of two hours per visit is required.

Payment is due at the time of service, either at the end of each visit or as otherwise agreed upon by both parties. Payments can be made by cash, check, or electronic transfer.

3. Refunds and Cancellations:

• If the Client cancels services with less than 24 hours' notice, the Client will be responsible for paying for the scheduled time.

• If services are canceled before the scheduled visit, a refund or rescheduling may be considered at the Doula’s discretion.

• Payments are non-refundable once services have been rendered.

4. Duration and Scope:

• The services outlined in this agreement are based on an hourly basis with no set limit on the number of visits. The Client can schedule as many hours as desired, based on needs.

• The Doula will provide services until both parties mutually agree that services are no longer required or the final postpartum visit is complete.

• Postpartum services may be continued after the initial visits upon mutual agreement.

5. Confidentiality:

Both the Doula and the Client agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal, medical, or family information disclosed during the course of services. All private health information will be handled in accordance with HIPAA and standard ethical practices.

6. Liability:

The Client understands that the Doula is not a medical professional and does not provide medical care or advice. The Doula’s role is strictly non-clinical and focused on emotional, physical, and informational support. Any medical or health concerns should be addressed with a healthcare professional.

7. Agreement and Signatures:

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement. This contract represents the entire agreement between the Doula and the Client and supersedes any previous understandings.
